Water – salt – ash as a substance, as a process and as a being in the cult, in the landscape and between people.
Our research questions
- How does the spiritual connect with the earthly on a sensual level in the cult, in the landscape and between people?
- How does the invisible reveal itself in the visible for thinking, feeling and willing?
- How do the spiritual beings touch the essential elements of a human community?
The three substances from the baptismal cult of the Christian Community form the basis for our research work. The three substances and the renewed cult of the Christian Community connect the Rosicrucian stream of knowledge with religious-cultic Christianity. We want to examine this new connection. We will also try to discover the effects of the three substances in the very special micro-landscapes of Lanzarote. Through artistic practice in sculpting and eurythmy we will expand our perceptive abilities.
Do you feel addressed?
Our research week is aimed at people who would like to connect with the life and work of the spiritual world in an unspectacular way. Even if the starting point is provided by the cult of the Christian community and the anthroposophical study of man, our research work has an interdenominational and interreligious character. It is intended as a kind of further training for “godmothers and godfathers of practical humanity”. Methodologically, it is a religious-artistic research with scientific elements.
Program and daily structure
- 10-11.30 a.m. Basic work and discussion on the topics “Washing of the feet”, “You are the salt of the earth” and “The renewing power of ashes”
- 12-13 h Artistic work: sculpting, eurythmy
- Lunch together
- Three afternoons of joint excursions to natural power places of water, salt and ash
- 19.30 Two evenings of lectures by Jarosław J. J. Rolka: “Mysterium cordis: Love your neighbor as yourself. Who is my neighbor? Who am I? Who is my enemy?” and “The blind spot and stumbling over the threshold to the invisible world. The realm of the ethereal”
