At the Centro, many qualities come together: a place to enjoy a carefree holiday, also with children. The Therapeutikum welcomes you for relaxing massages or full rejuvenating treatments. Meeting others happens naturally – at the bistro or during one of our cultural events.

Beautiful apartment complex

Our Centro is an island on the island: it is located in a quiet area of the port city of Puerto del Carmen, away from the hustle and bustle and nightlife. The apartments, bistro, organic food store and therapy center are grouped around two pools and form a sheltered interior space. With 52 apartments, the complex is clearly laid out yet spacious: there are sunny and shady corners and beautifully landscaped planting areas with native plants. Living in Centro

The luxury of our apartments is their size – you can really live comfortably here! Most of the 52 apartments consist of a spacious living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. The sofas in the living room can also be converted into a comfortable bed for two people. There are also some apartments with two bedrooms, some single rooms and barrier-free apartments. All apartments have a large balcony, some with a sea view, or a terrace.

Sustainability as a principle

The Centro has developed organically from biodynamic agriculture. It was important to the founding couple to make everything as sustainable as possible and to grow slowly with the guests. We have remained true to this credo and do our best to conserve the island’s precious resources. For example, we use an osmosis system to prepare drinking water so that you don’t have to buy water in plastic containers. Unfortunately, it is not possible to avoid having to fly to us.

Child-friendly

Little guests are welcome here! They can move around freely in the sheltered, clearly laid out grounds. The restaurant with its shady pergola is located right next to the pool, which has a small, separate children’s area. This means you can keep an eye on your children while you enjoy a leisurely meal or drink. The sandy beaches of Puerto del Carmen are wide and flat (800 m away on foot or by bus, bus stop nearby).

Everything within walking distance

From our quiet neighborhood you can reach stores, restaurants, ATM and bus stop within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The wide sandy beaches are around 800 meters away. The harbor and rocky coast can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.

Unesco biosphere reserve

The entire island is protected by Unesco and has been declared a biosphere reserve. It is thanks to the artist César Manrique that strict building standards apply: The houses and hotels may be a maximum of four storeys high and should be based on the traditional architectural style with whitewashed walls. There are therefore no high-rise buildings or hotel castles. The beaches are clean and the water is wonderfully clear. The volcanic, sometimes bizarre landscape is best experienced with our guided hikes or individually.
