Beautiful apartment complex

Our Centro is like an island within the island. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood of the harbour town of Puerto del Carmen, away from the bustle and nightlife. Around two swimming pools you will find the apartments, bistro, organic shop and Therapy Centre, forming a sheltered inner courtyard. With 52 apartments, the complex is easy to navigate yet spacious, you will find sunny and shaded corners and beautifully planted beds with native plants. The luxury of our apartments lies in their spaciousness – here you can truly live in comfort. Most of the 52 apartments consist of a generous living area with kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. The sofas in the living area can easily be converted into a comfortable bed for two people. There are also a number of apartments with two bedrooms, some single rooms, and accessible apartments. All apartments have a large balcony – some with sea views – or a terrace.

Sustainability as a Guiding Principle

The Centro grew organically out of biodynamic agriculture. For the founding couple, it was important to shape everything as sustainably as possible and to grow only gradually together with the guests. We have remained true to this vision and do our best to treat the island’s precious resources with care.
For example, we prepare drinking water using an osmosis system, so that you do not need to buy water in plastic bottles. Unfortunately, the fact that you have to fly to reach us cannot be avoided.

Child-friendly

Our youngest guests are very welcome here. Within the sheltered and easy-to-navigate grounds, children can move around freely. The restaurant with its shaded pergola is located right next to the pool, which includes a small, separate area for children. This means you can keep an eye on them while enjoying something to eat or drink.
The sandy beaches of Puerto del Carmen are wide and gently sloping (about 800 metres away on foot, or easily reached by bus – with a bus stop nearby).

Everything within walking distance

From our quiet neighbourhood, shops, restaurants, a cash machine and the bus stop can all be reached within a 5–10 minute walk. The wide sandy beaches are about 900 metres away. The harbour and rocky coastline can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes.

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve

The entire island is protected by UNESCO and has been declared a Biosphere Reserve. We owe it to the artist César Manrique that strict building regulations apply: houses and hotels may be no more than four storeys high and should follow the traditional architectural style with whitewashed walls. As a result, there are no high-rise buildings or large hotel complexes.
The beaches are clean, the water wonderfully clear. The volcanic landscape, sometimes striking and unusual, is best experienced on one of our guided walks – or explored at your own pace.
