Creative and Imaginative
Children are always welcome at the Centro. Families will find a child-friendly environment and a variety of creative activities as part of our weekly programme. We can also arrange childcare and babysitting at short notice. Whenever there is sufficient interest, we are delighted to offer a dedicated children’s programme. Our approach is inspired by the principles of Waldorf education.
Child-friendly surroundings
Children can explore the safe and easy-to-navigate grounds with plenty of freedom. The bistro, with its shaded pergola, is located right beside the pool, which includes a separate paddling area for younger children. This allows you to relax over a meal or a drink while keeping an eye on your little ones. The wide, gently sloping sandy beaches of Puerto del Carmen are just an 800-metre walk away, and can also be reached easily by bus, with a bus stop close by.

Children’s program
If three or more children are registered, we are happy to offer a children’s program in the morning. It is based on the principles of Waldorf education and is designed for children ages 3 to 10 who already have experience in group settings. If you are interested, please register early.

Would you like to leave your baby or toddler in good hands for a few hours? We can organize babysitting for you.

“El niño en el centro”
“The Child at the Center” is the guiding principle of our childcare program, fully in line with Waldorf education. A lovingly designed space invites children to play, sing, do crafts, and listen to stories. And, of course, the gardens on our finca also offer plenty of space for experiencing nature—for example, around a campfire together. Our children’s program is designed by our cultural director, Mikaela Nowak, along with experienced caregivers, who bring a great deal of heart, creativity, and an understanding of Waldorf education to their work.
