In prehistoric times, the NAUTILUS animated the oceans. It is an octopus that is now only found in tropical waters.
The perfect and fascinating shape of this ancient sea creature is reproduced in the NAUTILUS SPIRAL with just one piece of paper. This shape is also known as a logarithmic spiral or equiangular spiral. There are many different spiral shapes in nature, e.g. snails, sunflowers, pine cones, which fascinate us again and again because of their regularity and mathematical structure.
The banner combines biology, mathematics, visual design and emotional experience to create an original window decoration.
