If you leave the house in the middle of the island in the morning, you will find yourself in a thick cloud of fog. Timanfaya is hidden behind a gray curtain, from which at most a moon-shaped sun could be glimpsed. Not a breath of air stirs in the subdued atmosphere, as if it were quiet in the audience seats waiting for the curtain to rise. Because it has been announced: wind warning. The morning progresses… and then: the gray curtain lifts. The transparent display of forces begins, with a touch of the virtuoso art of windsweeping! Magnificent! Stirring!
Curtains have also been raised at Centro, including with the wonderful puppets by Myriam Recanati, and will continue to do so this month: Musical-lyrical, with discussion circles and also with a special play called “Heaven in the Belly” and some more await us on our stages!
