No sooner had the rainbow been chosen as the brightly colored protagonist than the first little flowers stretched their heads upwards. First the yellow ones, many of them mustard-like. Then the violets, the viper’s bugloss, and lilacs – cloudy levkoyas. In the north, the sunny local daisies will soon begin to bloom and delicate purple and red poppies will also be seen here and there.

This is also the case at Centro. In a painting course on the color green, shades of yellow and blue meet and mix to form green. It is as if the yellow awakens the blue, the blue calms the yellow. Does the resulting green really have a balancing, harmonious quality? At least a unifying one – just as the green is in the middle of the rainbow…
