Unsere Finca «Lomos Altos» wird geliebt von Menschen, die Ruhe, Schlichtheit und Natur suchen: kein Schnickschnack, kein Wlan, kein Pool – dafür ein weiter Himmel und ein traumhafter Blick aufs Meer, die Nachbarinseln und die Vulkankette im Westen. Hier können Sie sich auf das Eigentliche besinnen, zu sich finden und die Kraft der Elemente erfahren.

Traumhafte Lage

«Lomos Altos» bedeutet auf Spanisch «hoher Rücken»: Die Finca liegt auf einer leichten Anhöhe (150 m über Meer) außerhalb von Puerto del Carmen. Sie ist rund 3 km vom Centro und vom Meer entfernt. Rundherum liegen schwarze Vulkangärten, bepflanzt mit Kakteen, Aloe vera, Pfefferbäumen, Hibiskus und vielen anderen subtropischen Pflanzen.

Wohnen in der Stille

Die unterschiedlichen Wohngelegenheiten verteilen sich auf drei Gebäude, die sich rund 200 m voneinander entfernt in den Hang schmiegen. Ein Veranstaltungsraum lädt zum Lesen, Spielen und Bewegen ein. Darin befindet sich auch eine Bibliothek mit Belletristik und Werken von Rudolf Steiner. Unsere neue Aussenküche wartet auf kochfreudige Gäste!

Alle Annehmlichkeiten des Centro stehen Ihnen zur Verfügung: Pool, Restaurant, Bioladen, Therapeutikum, Bewegungsbad, Veranstaltungen. Ein Mietauto ist empfehlenswert. Familien mit Kindern und Kurgäste sind im Centro besser aufgehoben.

Veranstaltungen auf der Finca

Birgit Otto bietet regelmässig Führungen durch die Finca an, auf denen Sie Interessantes über Garten und Pflanzen, die inseltypische Landwirtschaft und die Geschichte der Finca erfahren. Begehrt sind ihre Workshops, in denen sie getrocknete Kräuter destilliert (einmal monatlich oder auf Anfrage von mind. 5 Personen). Auch andere Veranstaltungen finden hier statt.

Gärtnern mit Picón

Inseltypisch ist der Garten der Finca mit kleinen, porösen Lava-Steinchen – Picón genannt – abgedeckt, die den nächtlichen Tau aufnehmen und den Boden vor Austrocknung und Erosion schützen. Die Gartenanlage und die Terrassenbepflanzungen werden von Birgit Otto, Jacobo Menacho und John Berg gepflegt. Gerne können Sie bei Interesse mitgärtnern und anfragen! So manches Mal ist eine muntere Gartengruppe am Werk.

Wo alles begann

Die Finca mit ihren 3.5 ha Land ist der Geburtsort des Centro Antroposófico – hier begann das Gründungspaar mit biologisch-dynamischer Landwirtschaft. Daraus wuchsen das Therapeutikum, nach und nach Ferienwohnungen und ein Waldorfkindergarten. Heute ist ein Teil des Landes an einen Biogärtner verpachtet, der Gemüse, Früchte und Weintrauben anbaut. Dass eines Tages hier wieder Demeter-Gemüse heranwächst und biodynamische Präparate den Boden fruchtbarer machen, ist unser grosser Wunsch!
