It is an octopus that is now only found in tropical waters. The perfect and fascinating shape of this ancient sea creature is reproduced in the NAUTILUS SPIRAL with just one piece of paper. This shape is also known as a logarithmic spiral or equiangular spiral. There are many different spiral shapes in nature\, e.g. snails\, sunflowers\, pine cones\, which fascinate us again and again because of their regularity and mathematical structure.  The banner combines biology\, mathematics\, visual design and emotional experience to create an original window decoration. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Its traces in history\, its use in cultures allow us to recognize\, understand and interpret some things\, but much remains unexplained.

DESCRIPTION:Recognizing the true: “All human inquiry must proceed from amazement.” (Rudolf Steiner). \nAugust 24 to 30\, 2025. With Michael Dackweiler\, Jacek Cieńciała and Angelika Steinle. \nOur quick perception and thinking in everyday life constantly deceive us: I have perceived and understood something\, I now know what it is and can hurry on to the next object. Ordinary thinking leads to judgments and stands in our way of perceiving and recognizing things and people in their essence. But how do we arrive at real knowledge\, at recognizing what is true?   \nIn the lectures “The World of the Senses and the World of the Spirit” (GA 134)\, Rudolf Steiner describes four steps that open the path to reality for the soul: \n\nAmazement\nWorship\nFeeling in harmony\nSurrender to the course of the world\n\nIf we bring these qualities to life within us\, the being that opposes us can open up\, reveal itself and speak its secrets. Steiner speaks of allowing ourselves to be taught by reality: “Surrender is precisely that state of soul which (…) expects all truth from the revelation that flows from things\, and which can wait until it is ripe to receive this or that revelation.” Together and individually we practise this path.  \nMode of operation\nContent-related impulses\, text work\, exchanges in small groups and in plenary sessions alternate and are enriched by eurythmy and in-depth observations of nature. \nThe island offers us numerous opportunities to marvel\, worship\, feel in harmony and surrender! \nThe seminar will be led by Centro employees: \nMichael Dackweiler\, social therapist\, seminar leader and coach\nJacek Cieńciała\, eurythmist and eurythmy therapist \nFurther information in the flyer

It is an octopus that is now only found in tropical waters. The perfect and fascinating shape of this ancient sea creature is reproduced in the NAUTILUS SPIRAL with just one piece of paper. This shape is also known as a logarithmic spiral or equiangular spiral. There are many different spiral shapes in nature\, e.g. snails\, sunflowers\, pine cones\, which fascinate us again and again because of their regularity and mathematical structure.  The banner combines biology\, mathematics\, visual design and emotional experience to create an original window decoration. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
